From the Montegallo area, follow the slopes of Monte Vettore and then turn in the direction of the Forca di Presta pass, the pass that delimits the Castelluccio basin system and the secondary ridge that proceeds towards Forca di Canapine. The ridge where the official path passes guarantees views over the immense spaces of Central Italy in every direction before crossing the wooded Canapine Valley and descending to the village of San Pellegrino from which you will soon arrive in Norcia, the birthplace of San Benedetto.
