The second day, departing from Fiastra, allows you to approach the eastern side of the mountain range. You leave the town of San Lorenzo al Lago to gently climb the ridge and reach the splendid plateaus at 1400 meters above sea level of Ragnolo, a flowery or golden world depending on the season in which you cross it and a gaze that sweeps over the sharp crests of the Sibillini and on the Picene hills up to the Adriatic Sea. At the crossroads of Santa Maria Maddalena continue towards Pintura di Bolognola and from the square take the dirt road which continues downhill to the Casale di Vallecaprina refuge and then to the village of Garulla, from where you can easily reach the municipality of Amandola.
